Fundamentals of Floristry - Intensive Course Starts 15th July 2026
Love flowers? Searching for something creative, hands-on and soul-enriching?
Join us for our Fundamentals of Floristry course - a thoughtfully designed introduction to floral design and the first step toward a career in floristry.
Held across 8 inspiring sessions over 7 weeks, this course is designed for beginners who want to learn the art of working with fresh flowers in a modern and intentional way. Each week, you’ll build your confidence while learning essential floristry skills - from flower care and preparation, to colour theory, bouquet-making, floral design principles, and sustainable techniques.
You’ll be guided by Elise Ross, Head Florist of Elyssium Blooms and founder of The Bloom School. With over 20 years of industry experience and a genuine love for teaching, Elise brings both practical knowledge and creative insight into every session, helping students to feel supported, capable and creatively fulfilled.
