Welcome to the world of Wedding Floristry!
Join our hands-on course spanning over 3 big days, with each session focused on a specific area of wedding flowers. You will master both the creative and logistical aspects of designing a wedding from start to finish. As you explore the ins and outs of event floristry, you’ll build your confidence while learning about design, colour palettes, and how to work with a client's mood board or style.
Under the expert guidance of Elise Ross, Owner and Head Florist at Elyssium Blooms - a respected wedding florist on the Gold Coast - you will receive personalised, hands-on training. With 21 years of industry experience, Elise shares her practical knowledge and genuine passion for creating beautiful floral designs for weddings and events. You’ll benefit from her expertise and receive supportive instruction throughout your learning journey.
All of our courses are small and intimate, giving you the confidence and support needed to learn and grow as a wedding florist and get plenty of 1:1 time with Elise during each lesson. She is an open book for you to learn from during these sessions.

Wedding Floristry Masterclass Overview
Day 1: Bridal Party and Personal Flowers + Our Workbooks
Kick off the course by learning to create bridal bouquets, buttonholes and other personal flowers. We’ll cover essential prep work to ensure long-lasting blooms, including hydration techniques and safe packaging for delivery. We will also delve into communication with clients, bookings and much much more. It will be a jam packed day filled with lots of learning.
Day 2: All About Flowers - Ceremony Scenes and Hanging Installations/Large Scale Designs
As a group, we will dive into designing impactful ceremony floral scenes. From floral towers and archways to aisle flowers, you’ll learn essential design techniques and the importance of sketching out your ideas to bring your client’s vision to life. This session will be a collaborative experience, allowing us to work together to create the perfect ceremony setting. The second half of the day will be spent on designing dramatic overhead arrangements that will wow guests. We will cover everything from design concepts to the mechanics and materials needed.
Day 3: Reception Flowers, Tablescapes, Workbooks + Afternoon Tea
Our final day will be our biggest yet! Each student will design a romantic garden-style arrangement for a wedding reception. We’ll then come together as a group to create a tablescape that mimics a real wedding reception space. This session will also include another workbook where we talk all things pricing, ordering and more!
We’ll explore texture combinations, mechanics, and cohesive design principles.
To mark the end of your course, you’ll be invited to share a beautiful afternoon tea around our styled table - a moment to reflect on your journey, celebrate your creations, and take pride in all you’ve learned.
Throughout these intensive 3 days, you’ll receive personalised guidance and share in Elise's wealth of knowledge and experience from designing hundreds of weddings throughout the years. Each lesson will run from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
This course will run from Wynmere Estate, a luxurious European inspired wedding venue on the beautiful Tamborine Mountain. We will be creating in some of the most gorgeous spaces, which is a treat in itself.

PATMENT OPTIONS:
Full Payment Upfront $3,450.00 (discounted rate if paying in full).
Payment Plan A - $1,650.00 Upfront payment, then 4 payments of $500.00 due on 6th January 2026, 13th January 2026, 20th January 2026 and 27th January 2026. These will be invoiced separately.
Payment Plan B - $1,000.00 Upfront payment, then 4 payments of $663.00 due on 6th January 2026, 13th January 2026, 20th January 2026 and 27th January 2026. These will be invoiced separately.
AFTERPAY Payment Plan - $2,000.00 Upfront, then a separate invoice of $1,600.00 due by 27th January 2026. This will be invoiced separately.
